What fees are owed if an engagement is cancelled?
If an engagement is cancelled the day before filming, what time is a partial fee incurred and also at what time the full payment is due?
This is not explicitly mentioned in the agreement, however, in the event of cancellation by the Producer:
- Due to a contractual breach by the Producer, 100% of the Basic Fee is payable to the Supporting Artist.
- Due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the Producer’s control, 50% of the Basic Fee is payable.
- Between midday and 5.30pm the day before the call, only 50% of the Basic Fee is payable.
- For the avoidance of doubt, all cancellation rates listed above will not include Supplementary Payments.
