I received an availability inquiry, now what?

If you match a current casting breakdown, a casting director or company will reach out to you directly and check your availability.

You will receive the name of the production, date, location and rate of pay in the inquiry email. From the inquiry you’ll be able to see the casting director or company interested in your profile (look out for their logo, and check the email address that it’s come from).

Please respond (via the link in the inquiry) as soon as possible, as often, casting directors are under a tight deadline. The quicker you respond, the higher the chance of securing work.

If you are confirmed for the job, the casting director or company will follow up with a confirmation email letting you know. Please note that this might not always be the same day, and if your availability changes, you should let the casting director or company know ASAP (you can just reply to the email address that the inquiry was delivered from). Do not contact POP in this instance.

Please note if you have responded as ‘available’ you are now being considered for the role. So you must ensure you keep the date(s) free until you receive either confirmation details or a release. Remember this may not come until the evening before the shoot day.
