PACT/FAA rates for Supporting Artists 1st March - 31st Dec 2023

PACT/FAA new rates 2023-2025

Pact has been in negotiation with the Film Artistes Association (FAA) on new rates after the expiry of the old rates on 31st December 2022. This means that for film and TV shows filming in the FAA zone there is now a new rates agreement.

Following the FAA’s acceptance of Pact’s counter-proposal, there will be a two-tiered system of implementation of the new rates as follows:

– 5% increase for 2023 to come into effect for all new productions 1st March 2023 and for all productions currently shooting from 1st June 2023;

– 3.5% increase on 1st Jan 2024; and

– 2% increase on 1st Jan 2025 for all rates in Appendix A and all categories in Appendix B.

If a production has already locked their budget and filming commences or has commenced on or after 1st March 2023, the old 2022 rates apply until 1st June 2023. Otherwise, the new rates apply to all other productions.

With regards to the travel allowance in Appendix D, travel allowances will continue to increase annually in line with TFL adjustments, with the new 5.9% increase coming into force 5th March 2023.
